About the Research

The Women’s Health Research Institute, in partnership with Pacific Blue Cross and the BC Women’s Hospital Foundation, is conducting a large online survey to explore the physical and psychological health experiences of midlife women. Of particular interest is the transition through menopause, its associated symptoms, and their impact to daily living, quality of life, work productivity and caregiving responsibilities.

The current research project is recruiting participants who are:

  • Between the ages of 39 to 60
  • Residents of BC
  • Assigned female at birth, and
  • Identify as a woman, gender diverse, or trans

Participants will be asked to complete an online survey that will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. When you are finished, you will be entered into a draw for a $50 gift-card (1 in 10 chance), or a $100, $250 or $500 gift card (1 winner announced for each), valid for use in Canada only. Winners will be selected in Spring 2024 and be contacted via email. Click here for details: http://whri.org/our-initiatives/her-bc/
