The menopause primer has been designed to provide the foundational building blocks of basic menopause education that has not been well taught for over 20 years. As many medical schools and residency programs don’t spend much time on menopause education, the primer offers the opportunity to build a baseline level of knowledge.
It is suitable for nurse practitioners, pharmacists, medical trainees, and practicing medical clinicians who feel that they would like to “dip their toes” into the field of menopause. The six brief presentations will concisely offer practical knowledge and clinical tips that will allow participants to begin providing evidence based menopause care. It may also be considered as a “refresher course” for those already familiar with the topic.
